Personal: Sebastian in Vacaville Magazine

Sebastian in Vacaville magazine
I am still on a break from photography except for special requests but I am creating a lot of memories for our little boy and will be sharing some of his photos on blog in future too but for today I wanted to share his announcement in Vacaville magazine.
Today we went for a cake with my husband Gustavo and little Sebastian to our favorite cake shop in downtown Vacaville - Pure Grain. We saw a new issue of Vacaville magazine there on the stand next to the door. We put an announcement for Sebastian in it so I went to grab it even before my cake :). So here we are sharing a photo of Sebastian's announcement in Vacaville magazine :). If you live here in Vacaville he is on page 80. We are even planning to send a copy or two to Slovenia to my family and yes short message for our little boy included few slovenian words too.
Sebastian is doing a lot of modeling these days so we will be sharing some photos on the blog in the future. He is growing up and we are trying to share as much time as possible together and cherish precious moments. WELCOME OUR LITTLE TREASURE TO THIS WORLD

WELCOME OUR LITTLE TREASURE TO THIS WORLD :) WE ARE CRAZY ABOUT YOU!!!
Sebastian was born on October 9th 2012 at 4:01 am in Roseville, California. He was 9 pounds and 10 ounces big and 21 inches long. This was one of the most amazing experiences in my life that gave us a gift named Sebastian that will keep on giving.
We are (me and Gustavo) so in love with our "little" baby boy. His arrival started with water breaking early in the morning on his due date, then we were progressing nice all the way to 10 cm and were sure we will meet our boy on Oct 8th. But after pushing 4 hours and laboring for 20 something hours we had to have a c-section what we found out later was the only option for our big boy. It was an amazing experience and we are so thankful for Sebastian. We are getting to know each other and loving every moment of it.
Thank you Gustavo for creating all this amazing memories for our family since I wasn't able to use my camera. I Iove you and I know this memories will mean a lot to our little boy one day soon in the future.

Prego pizza + full moon - let's see if our Baby Boy comes

Prego pizza + full moon - let's see if our Baby Boy comes
I (well so did our baby boy and daddy) just enjoyed some Prego pizza that in the past started labor for quite few woman and with full moon tonight too we are testing to see if our Baby Boy could arrive today or tomorrow.

Personal: another Baby Shower

First let me tell you that we feel really bless to have so many great people in our lives. We had another Baby Shower for Sebastian yesterday (September 14th, 2012) and it was really SPECIAL! Special thank you goes to Megan and Angie for organizing such an amazing Bee party. Big thank you to all amazing ladies that helped (well all of you). The buffet table was amazing so thank you chefs: Diana Christensen, Erika Dye, Keri Beauchamp, Kim Bosler, Lei Putney. We are so thankful to each of our church friends that was able to share this special moment with us. It means a lot to us. I feel like I am a part of mommy group now :). Had some great time and good conversations, not to mention ama ama food and fun games. We got many beautiful gifts and all we can say is thank you for your generosity. And for those who were unable to attend, here are few photos for our memories that I am sharing with you.

We had a Baby Shower for Sebastian this Saturday (August 4th, 2012) and it was so AMAZING! We are so thankful to each of our family members and friends that was able to share this special moment with us. It means a lot to us. Pregnancy and 2012 off

Yes we are pregnant and that is why I am not here on my blog lately. We are expecting our first child - baby boy :). Me and my husband are very excited and I made a decision to take some time off from my work and passion ---> photography. I will be back in full motion with 2013 - first part of the year in California and should be spending summer in Europe ---> Slovenia. I may still post some photos from time to time since it is hard to stay away from my camera but mostly we are getting ready for our new arrival and growing each day. Who am I? (personal)

Who am I?
I met some great people here on my blog in the past year or so. From photographers, bloggers, writers, ... and more and more people are asking me questions about who I am as Brigita. So I decided to write few words about that today.
Where to start. I am a slovenian girl that lives in California. I was born in Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia, and I lived there most of my life. I have one younger sister Bernarda and close relationship with all my family (tennis player dad, sweetest mom, amazing grandparent and others). I love Slovenia - a small but beautiful country. Most of my family and friends live in Slovenia and I miss them all so much. But my husband Gustavo is from California and that is how I call California my home now. I never imagined that in my wildest dreams. I like it here a lot but I do miss My People (that is how I call my family + my friends), warm ocean water, clay tennis courts and european chocolate a lot.
I am a shy girl by nature but once I get to know people really good I forget about my shyness. I love sharing everything I know (was told many times I should be a teacher) but it is really hard for me to share a piece of chocolate with anybody - I am a Chocoholic. I have a degree in business finances and love reading financial books. I am a big kid in my head and heart. And to be honest sometimes I feel better in a company of kids then adults. Don't get me wrong but kids just know how to live and have fun.
As you know I love photography and photo camera is my partner in crime most of my time. I love capturing the moment and making it last forever. As much as I love photography there is a close second love I have and that is tennis. I love tennis. I used to play for my university and went to many tennis tournaments all around the world with my Mom. My first and best tennis teacher is my Dad and I love playing tennis with him but playing with my husband Gustavo is something I enjoy doing a lot too. Playing tennis with my husband means a lot to me not only because we are both crazy about tennis but because we met because of tennis.
My first language is slovene so that is why my english might sound funny at times. I love spanish - si senor me gusta espanol mucho and my opinion is foreign languages rule. Go and learn some foreign languages- in Slovenia we start learning foreign languages in primary school and it is something I really like. Well we kinda have to since I am not sure how many people around the world actually speak slovene.
My family and friends are and always will be the most important in my life. I joined a church of Latter- day Saints in 2010 and I really appreciate all the great people I met so far and all the peace and knowledge I received in such a short time. I love spending time with my husband, family and friends. I enjoy photography in all ways and enjoy learning more about it each day. Another thing about me is I love traveling - I always seem to get to know myself a little more during every trip I take. My favorite city is Valencia in Spain.
My dreams for near future are to create family with my husband Gustavo, to continue doing what I love -Photography- and learn as much as I can about photography, to go to Slovenia and spend quality time with my family and friends, to help create memories for as many people as I can, to grow as a person, .....
So I hope you got to know me a little better. I want to also thank you for visiting my blog and hope to see you soon again,
